Education
Client Meetings are arranged every year at various venues including farm walks, Plumpton College and local pubs.
Recent subjects covered have been: dairy nutrition, worming and blue tongue in sheep, pig and poultry husbandry and others.
Up and coming subjects are: Beef fertility, Sheep small holder general care and lambing, Lameness in dairy cattle and much more.
We are trying to cater for everyone’s needs and are therefore always interested to know what subjects our clients would like to cover.
The meetings have been educational, social and mostly free to attend as funding through SEEDA and sponsoring by various drug companies is available.
KEEP AN EYE ON OUR WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTER IN WHICH THE MEETINGS WILL BE ANNOUNCED.
Being part of XL vets means we are keen to promote and be part of the ‘Farm skills’ program. This program has existed a year now and delivered small group workshops covering all different subjects, across Britain. To read
