The practice have veterinary surgeons qualified to do most DEFRA tasks including export certification.
We are situated close to an area of the South Downs that has been a longterm 'Hotspot' for Tuberculosis in cattle and wildlife. Consequently TB testing of local cattle ,as required and instructed by DEFRA, is performed throughout the year.
Private TB testing before movement or sale of cattle can be arranged by appointment.
Advice on current, local notifiable disease issues eg FMD and Bluetongue is available from the practice.
